Community programs cover a broad spectrum of educational and recreational opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Classes take place at City facilities as well as shared-use facilities. The Department also offers after-school enrichment programs in coordination with the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Preschool classes focus on the development of social skills, coordination, and self-expression through art classes, music, and theater arts.
